Got to agree, Cunningham will step up and replace heremia next season.

| Quote: Standee "What Koukash is "worth" and what he has readily available to spend could be two very different things, there's also the players themselves to consider, if L88ds/Wire and Salford go in for a player, are they really going to go to Salford, a club that struggle to attract more than 5k spectators?
Noble hasn't done anything meaningful in SL for almost a decade, unless you count keeping Wigan up by breaking the salary cap?'"
I disagree, getting Crusaders to the playoffs was a good achievement given the players he had available.
Salford are a long way off getting the games top players, but the money they have will make them attractive to decent players who would have otherwise gone to clubs like ourselves, Bradford, Huddersfield etc the big names will only be interested if there's a chance of winning silverware and that will take time.

| Would think we need one back rower to replace Tickle and Galea, together with Whiting, Ellis, Westy, Kent and Hadley is decent.
Prop to replace Ogre, and if corse a half back. Plenty of money to spend, I'm expecting a couple of big signings.

Agree completely with this.

My opinion on this keeps changing each week and no doubt will continue to do so until the end of the season. My current thinking is that we need a half back and two props as priorities: one to replace O'Meley and a Sam Moa style impact prop which I think we have missed this year.
On paper Whiting, Ellis, Westerman, Kent and Hadley looks like some pretty good second row options to me so that wouldn't be an area I'd think we'd need to strengthen as a priority. Want to see Ellis in action first though before cementing that opinion .

| I think the chances are that either Green or Bowden can come good next season, meaning we only really need one big Prop. Scrum half is obviously essential, and I really think we need a centre that can break a tackle, or put his winger away regularly. At hooker, I think Heremaia can be as good as anything else in SL right now, so I'd happily keep him. Love his commitment, but dissapointed with Houghton's distribution and pass selection this season.

Koukash IMO would have as much disposable cash as he wants to support Salford with. You seen how many horse he has, and continues to buy? Salford will be small fry

With Yeaman, Crookes and Arundel signed for next season i would be surprised it we go out and get a centre. Scrum Half and Prop are our particular needs,we have cover and youth to bring in all other positions.
I would consider keeping Heremia if a deal could be struck as it gives us cover in the halves in case of injury, it will block Cunningham for another year though and I suppose we will still have Horne.
We should have a fair bit of cap to spend for next season (especially if we can come to an arrangement with Seymour)
I hope a suitable Half and Prop are available to spend it on!

| Yeah it winds me up that people say we need pace in the centres(Crooks) and a centre who passes the ball to his winger which apparantley Yeaman doesn't, although Briscoe has 77 trys in 129 games. We need a rough a**e prop, a halfback and I think another 2nd rower.

We'll see who they end up signing in the next few years, you may well be right.

What have you heard, is the signing for this season ?, I`d assume we would announce the release of Seymour before we announce a new signing

We offered £200K and another player for Dobson.Turned down.
Hudgell will never sell to us .Dobson could be off to Saints for £300k.
