Putting Houghton on the bench means he will play some part in the game
its just a slap on the wrist and as i said there is no way last will drop Houghton or Shaul even though Houghton in particular was dreadful against Salford.

Perhaps he was not confident on Jordan being able to do the full 80

Ellis and Fash as starting props. I did say we were short in the props before the season started.

I would have said you had a point but you have Cator and Fash in the side who have both played 9 and could stand in if necessary.
Quite obvious Last was not happy with Houghtons performance but make your point and drop him which then becomes a warning to other players.
