My player of the season so far. Always gives 100% and never let's us down. I feel he should be looking at international honours. Ok a lack of pace but his utility value is fantastic. For all his lack of pace there was not a single Hull player near him when he made that break. As for putting players on report. For me we were penalised as unless the Rovers player was going to be sent off we gained nowt from that decision and in deed if we had knocked on at the first play the ball we would have been under immense pressure. Poor rule if Coddy is correct.

M.O.M today, no doubt. The lad is class, probs got the best pair of hands at the club and arguably the best rugby brain. Would love to see him at 13 on Monday with Fitz dropping to second row but he will have to play in the back line as we now have no wingers at all. I reckon turner will come into centre with Rich being stuck out on the wing.

Spot on. I'd love to see him get a run at loose forward.

Totally agree, Whiting's a class act with a great rugby brain. What he lacks in pace, he gains with his head and for what it's worth, people keep banging - on about his lack of pace etc. but when he does break where is everyone else?
Most of his breaks leave him on his own making him look more slower than he is. With someone backing up we could have had some great trys.
I agree, this could be an opportunity to see Whiting in the second row or L/F.

His pace is fine - it's just not lightening. He made plenty of ground on that interception, for example.

That's what I'm trying to say. He has good pace, and makes the breaks, usually breaking the line. It's just frustrating that when he does, there is usually no other players anywhere near him to continue the break.
You don't necessarily need devastating pace, just good back up.
