| When I looked at the fixtures preseason I thought if we get to the rovers game with 10 points i'd be happy and we're still on for that. Agar's not the first coach to take a team to Wigan and come away with nothing the important thing is how we respond next week against Bradford.

Indeed. We are where I'd expected us to be, with the St Helens and Crusaders results both going against prediction.
I'm not a fan of Agar but for people to call for his head after six games - especially with four wins - is pathetic. It's interesting that the last two big wins were down to the likes of Fitz and O'Meley yet tonight's defeat is Agar's fault. That is sport, I guess.

I agree with that Major. Wigan away was always a bonus if we won but the manner of defeat is disappointing but then again it is all down to how we respond next week. Every team will have bad days its those that react positivily that will do well.

| As i see it so far only two of us have called for Agar's head, yet there were plenty more heaping credit of the players last week, some of which have called me a plank & a 2@ tonite, I am happy to debate the merits of Agar with anyone but lets be consistent in our debate

| I'd called earlier in the week for us treat the build up for this game as a massive game for us but we looked lethargic. Even without the penalties were totally dominated in the forwards. I actually don't think Wigan were that good tonight but they didn't need to be. Is it agars job to make sure the players are up for it? I'd say yes. Our defence was a shambles especially out wide and Hall is definately not a winger he was caught out so often.

| seems to be the two extremes on here. people defending agar vigorously and others attacking agar with some force. I am somewere in the middle. Expected us to lose tonight but the manner was dissapointing. Agars gameplan looked pretty decent but spilling balls and silly penalties are never helpful in carrying your gameplan through the game. If it was one man rugby I would be more concerned, but we are certainly alot better than last season.
In a sentence
Just one of those nights

| Quote Tarquin Fuego="Tarquin Fuego"Wigan have the same squad as last year but are a completely different and better team - WHY - world class coach that we should have signed. We must make Nathan Brown an offer to jump Giants asap'"
I am sure Browny would laugh at such an offer but if not you better have a very very very big cheque book!!!
Why would Browny leave a team he got to 3rd in the league, to a Challenge Cup Final, won team of the year, coach of the year and has MOS amongst it's ranks.
If and when he does go I think it will be back to the land down under TBH.
PS: ATEOTD the season is only 6 games old and as your result proves, every team this season are capable of beating each other.
