The best day i've had as a Hull FC fan

(it was my first season too!)

I remember spilling my beer all over the bald guy in front of me when G nolan got that impossible touchdown, quality!! and Greg Mackay Shouting "You F***ing Beauty" as he lifted the trophy. I was only talking about that scrap in the other game with someone today.

Does anyone remember the game at Cas when the scrapping on the pitch got so out of hand that the ref took both teams off to cool down for a good 10 minutes. Richard Price was getting a right kicking from 2 or 3 cas players at one point but then 2 or 3 of ours gave one of theirs some back.

I think that might have been the same day that "big Al" did the strip on the pool table pre match!

I didnt start going to watch hull until a couple of seasons after that so i dont remember it that well i was only 10 at the time, but i remember me mum and dad going in the ford escort they had and it breaking down on the way home

Anybody remember or took part in the huge Conga at the stretford end.

Thinking back to the Salford Halifax game before, carnt remember the huge lardy Fax player who came on as Sub. Anybody help me out?

An absolutely brilliant day - was only the second season I'd been supporting FC, so was a bit spoilt really. I remember Brendan Hill for Halifax as well, last of the old-fashioned props. Think I've still got the souvenir HDM somewhere in the loft. 2 class half backs in the team at once - happy days

So all the moaning you do about this board is pretty much unfounded then. Since 1991 we've only ever had a board that dismantles winning teams (the premiership side), signs "cheap" coaches replacing Smith with Cleal is a prime example and basically almost closed the club down. By heck, Kath and this board are brilliant in comparison to any other FC board you have ever witnessed.

I was 10 when i was taken to it with my dad and all his mates. I can't actually remember how we go there though. Did Busby also score, just have vague memories of him scoring and him celebrating in the crowd right where me and a fellow youngster where.
