McDonnell looks a decent prospect to me, although he looks a bit isolated at Rovers sometimes. Not sure Horney is up to Super League standard any more.

Would it be worthwhile playing McDonnell on the wing (as many on here seem to think Sharp won't be retained) and then have him switch to Fullback if Horne is unavailable to play?
Or would that be unrealistic in terms of salaries?

A top halfback is a must more than a fullback, Horne will do well there. That said if we could have both then great.

I agree, he's looked good in patches, but his injury record is poor and I think he is too small to be a top SL prop.

I know there was the posability of him going at the end of the season,maybe with signing watts the club have decided to get rid now?
