I can't believe that it was ever a serious consideration to leave though. A 5 year deal represents a big commitment from Wigan towards him, which will no doubt be represented in a large salary towards the latter end of that contract.
All that anyones heard from Hock is that he couldn't wait to get back in training with the squad, that he felt he owed the club and incredible amount and that he wanted to repay the club for the large amount of support they have shown him over the last 2 years. |

P.S. Not too bothered about the Hock rumour not being true, he's not good looking enough for a start.  |

Yeah abit silly that post tbh.
I could never really see much in the Hock to Hull rumours as the guy has basically commited himself to Wigan months ago and spoke publically about his desire to pull on the Wigan shirt again and pay back the clubs faith in him. He turned down moves to the NRL to stick with Wigan and is very much a home town lad. The rumour just didn't seem to add up from the start.

Wigan have stodd by Hock for 2 years, have recently argued to get him back in training before the ban expires and have then all of a sudden decided to flog him. Can't see it myself.'"
