We'll need 2 halves in 2012 anyways, can't see Long wanting to stay past this year.
Suppose we'll never know about Chase until if/when he moves to a team that would give him more to work with.
Not really convinced that our board would go for a "cheap" option. We will probably stand still this year as regards to on the field but 2012 is a great opportunity to really build and mould a really good team.
When you think we have the likes of Briscoe, Sharp, Westerman and Houghton for young English talent added to Tickle, Yeaman, Whiting it gives us a very good crop of English talent, then when you add in Moa it gives us a core to the team for 5 plus years. Manu is only 30 and we have Ogre for another 2 years. With the likes of Cunningham, Kent, Green, Aldous, J. Briscoe, Lynne, Nicklas, Crooks and Williams only 2-3 Years away (not even that in some cases) I certainly don't think things are that bad in the bigger picture. With some quality additions using the quota and the money freed up by Fitz, Long etc. We could really be pushing. |

I'm not so sure. I can't see them having 2 new halfs tied up for 2012 and they seem insistent that they only want a player for 12 months so expect to see at least 1 of long and horne being given a new contract |

Having half a good team and the rest average or with no SL experience does not equal a team that can win things or even challenge. Untill we have quality all over the park and decent back up we will not improve.
