Get real some good rugby played by Wakefield if we'd not switched off in broken play it would have been a win by about 12 and my prediction of a Trinity win 26:18 was a little exaggerated, you also played a little better than I thought you would.  |

But we're probably spending at least 30% more on our squad which really means we should be beating you. The fact we were awful for the whole game and still only lost by a point backs that up. No disrespect meant and you deserved your win on the night

 Sorry Hull are bound to win it with all the investment in their playing staff aren't they?. RL big under achievers in recent years. Wakefield are a small club but have some decent players and when they apply themselves can be competitive.
There were too many simple errors but to suggest that Hull should have won easily is unrealistic on your current form. You have an ageing pack, I'd be looking there...... |

Have I suggested that we should have won easily. The fact is that with the players we have we should have won (easily or otherwise). We didn't because on the night we weren't capable of playing anywhere near the required level and this had nothing to do with Trinity, but more to do with penalties needlessly conceded and the failure to hang on to the ball. FWIW I think Trinity deserved to win because they at least played as a team but don't fool yourself that your overall play was anything exceptional. Had it been you wouldn't have needed a drop goal to win.
