Quote: Paul Youane "The Warrington team is anything but experienced. The last few weeks they have been playing with seven first year academy players as they did yesterday. The Warrington team listed on the Hull supporter's website linked to in this thread is wrong, both Jack Johnson and Sam Wilde didn't play as they are likely to be in first team 17 for today's game.

The St Helens v Hull semi should be a hell of a close game. I can't see the same for the other semi though although Warrington did turn Wigan over a few weeks back at home in a rather feisty encounter (read the disciplinary report for Bretherton on the RFL website) a few weeks previous to that Wigan put 70 on Warrington.'"

given it's his second punching charge this season sounds like another Wane type

Probably the end of an era for the club. Can't believe that's it for our junior set up

Looking forward to (hopefully) watching an u23s competition next year, 19s was never a concept I liked.

That said, the way our younger 19s are being forced in to this academy is criminal.

Not a chance that any of the current crop pushing for first team will play for the merged academy.

On the game itself, if we was anywhere near full strength I've no doubt we'd beat Saints. But with so many needed for first team I can't see anything but a Saints win. Real shame it's come to this for them, but the main aim is to progress to first team I suppose.

Shame but with so many having been drafted into the first team it was always gonna be a big ask

3rd is an excellent result for us. A great campaign for a talented group.

You should be proud of your 19s. Every game against saints this year has been a belter, but saints always just having that little too much.

Saints also had a couple of key players last night, and we're a little rusty at first dropping the ball a couple of times and poor dicsaplin.

Hull despite lacking a few came to play and looked strong. I particularly like Ross Osbourne the prop. I think he's been Hulls outstanding forward every time I've seen hull. I rate him much higher that mashi and was stunned that he got his debut ahead of Ross.

You've got some cracking good players coming through, the future should be bright for Hull.

Thanks for that. Sounds like your guys are top with good reason. Do you play Wigan in the final? Good luck if so!
