| If the forum is in Wednesday, I’d hope there is an announcement either today or tomorrow confirming the investment.

| As the recent article says about the state of affairs behind the scenes, in isolation things like a lack of providing breakfast may seem like minor things that the players and the club have to cope with and learn to deal with and hardly seem like the end of the world but when it's just one of many things that the club have cut back on then it all contributes to creating what has clearly become a systemic problem at the club. It makes us seem amateurish and it's not surprising that we have slumped as we have when stuff like this is revealed. We bemoan the players and the coaches and whilst they are not blameless, you have to feel that a lot of this has been out of their hands.
It's pleasing to note that the club are addressing all areas and not just what might be considered a big issue but the smaller things as well to create a more professional environment.

If there's any news Pearson will be itching to press the release button before the forum, questions would go from hostile to positive in an instant!

Have to say his fragile mindset worries me, homesick in France at age 28 when you fly back home for games every other week isn't exactly like being sent away to war at age 16/18 is it.
Hope it works out for him and us otherwise it's going to be a long and expensive 3 years for the club.

| A lot of Hull fans seem to be jumping the gun yet again on social media and getting giddy that the ‘dark days’ are behind us and that we are ready to take on the world and splash loads of cash.
Does anyone actually have any idea of what’s going on? I’ve spoke to a couple of people with big connections at the club and they’ve not given anything away, if they do know people are staying tight lipped. Any cash boost will be welcome news but you’d think any ‘investors’ are going to want to see a return and there’s no way that will happen if you want to spend the amount of money the likes of Wigan, Rovers and Warrington throw about.

Fragile mindset? Have you ever worked away from home? Not everyone takes to it. I did plenty working in the construction industry. it’s not easy leaving your family for any length of time, never mind missing FC games.

How much return on investment do you think Hudgell, Davies, mcManus, Danson etc get? It just doesn't happen running a club

He was sent to catalans because he returned tk pre season training g at rovers unfit and over weight. Nothing to do with living away. He played a year for London so presumably isn't averse to being away from hull. Poor excuse for the state He was in at catalans

| He probably didn't have children he was away from when he played for London. Not that I'm making excuses for his condition last season

| Been through an awful lot off the pitch in last couple years, i'm not excusing his condition at Catalans but I think there is at least some understanding from the club as to why he got that way.
Hopefully been back home, in a better place mentally and surrounded/supported by the club we will see the best of him, of which on his day he's one of the very best in the comp.

That’s exactly the point, it’s next to impossible to be successful in this climate organically without a rich owner or sugar daddy willing to literally throw money away with little or no chance of a financial return. I’m still hearing that AP will be sticking around as the majority shareholder. Maybe he’s more savvy then we think and has suddenly managed to persuade a group of millionaires with no emotional connection to the club or even the City (some people on SM are actually saying billionaires) to pump a load of money in, pay off the debts and and make us successful for him to benefit down the line but I’m skeptical that he’s that great a businessman.
I’ve literally seen people talking about building stadiums and stuff. Like I say any ‘cash injection’ is very welcome and it looks like under Myler money is being spent much more wisely as it stands anyway but just don’t see the fairytale people are hoping for. This is a fanbase that allows itself to be convinced every 3 years for the past 25 that Mally Walker is buying the club. Any ‘investment’ that keeps the club afloat and allows us to spend as a normal SL club would be a huge win at the moment for me.

| Social media is of course renowned for its accurate and reasonable takes on everything....
The reality, as always, will be far more modest. I suspect just paying off any loans and injecting a few hundred grand to pay some marquee wages or the extra backroom staff would make the world of difference.

| If they are a rugby man and want to pwn a club and have the job of bring successful I could someone investing and not looking for money back.
A couple of million to buy the club and 1m a year investment is nothing to someone like Thirkill, it won't even make a dent into his money.
