I’m far from an expert these days but to me Sullivan just fits that profile of a player who might struggle to be a top level 7 in the massively structured NRL week in and week out but would still absolutely tear it up in SL, there’s been absolutely loads over the years and if Kelly is seen as the benchmark I think there’s a lot of similarities.

If the club are confident they can get JA playing well and regularly that could be a brilliant partnership, there’s some big Ifs though there.

Wests are desperate to get him out of his big 4 year deal to the point of subsidising his wages and it’s clear we want him but the problem has always been him and his agent insist he’s not leaving the NRL.
