This is a crazy situation. Lots of us have been saying why hasn't Lovodua been playing hooker and the reason he hasn't could be because he doesn't want to play there!!

What does that say about his attitude. I wonder if that could be why his contract extension has not been announced. If we haven't re-signed him get a specialist hooker in who wants to play there.

Id play Smith as hooker off the bench this weekend, see how he goes, but use him properly bring him on after 20 minutes and take Houghton off, particularly in the heat.

To be honest Dave if Houghton plays I just can not see BH spelling him as that just seems to be an alien concept its as though its written in stone he plays for 80.

I don't get the fascination with Lovodua. Played well first few games, but everyone can see he isn't much of a half, and he definitely isn't a 2nd rower.

to be fair to lovodua,hes never had a settled position and is now playing in a team thats in total disarray.his form eill suffer,i still think we are lacking a genuine hard man pack leader.a lot of these south sea islander forewards are good but dont seem to have either leadership qualities or are very good when the going gets tough.
