I think Hull have been guilty of handing out big contracts to the wrong players, and not knowing when a players starting to regress and hanging on to them too long (hougton/Bowden) . The best teams get this spot on.

Agreed, the club need to wind that down. In fact they do the same with the semifinal wins. 2005, 2016 and 2017 were amazing but they don't need to keep posting videos of them. |

They are a nice memory though.
Like I mentioned after the departure of our last long-term coach, it could be quite some years before silverware days are sampled again.

Leeds just confirmed Blake Austin, so they now have him Sezer and Gale competing in the halves. Gale of course was stripped off the Captaincy a week or two ago...
If we could offload Sneyd somewhere could we make a move? I'd happily 'crowdfund' for that. Or maybe someone's slipped something into my coffee this morning!
Edit: didn't realise he is 33 though, thought he was 27/28, time is flying!

I like Mason Lino at Wakefield, has a good balance of taking the line on, creative with ball In hand and a kicking game.

Issue with Lino is he's a quota player.
Hampshire would be worth a look though, can cover 1,6,7,9 plus wing. He's got bags of pace and I think has been in the FC youth system before he went to Wigan.
As a bench utility player I don't think we could get much better.
Only issue is his ego, I get the impression he thinks he's the next big thing. |
