If Huddersfield have signed Joe Greenwood, as reported on the Leeds forum, is the Jones deal in doubt.

They're dropping hints on Instagram at it looks like they've signed Greenwood.

Hudds are stacked in the backrow now. Greenwood, McQueen, Edwards, Wardle, Lawrence.

Maybe the Jones deal has fallen through. Or we're taking one of there hands.

Would take Wardle.

Young Wardle looks a class act, it would be along the lines of us getting Connor, can’t see it.

I meant Wardle senior. He could do a job in the back row or at 13. He's had his injury issues recently but he's as tough as they come.

I said the other day it’s very quiet on the Jones front re Huddersfield and with all the signings they’ve made so far I can’t believe he hadn’t been one of them if he was going there.
As for the names listed I wouldn’t take Wardle Snr or Lawrence and I don’t think we have any space for Kenny or McQueen.
Jones possibly end up at Warrington to be fair as can’t see many other takers that would have the funds to meet his wage other than Leeds.

Englsih would be a fantastic signing, him and Brown are potential future Internationals, I don't see taht happening though.

I wouldn't mind Joe Wardle, good player but a bit injury prone.

An outside bet could be Oliver Roberts, looked very promising in his first season, then fell out of favour, on loan to Salford next season, but could be worth looking at.

Greenwood confirmed at Hudds, maybe the deal is off for Jones?

Maybe he still has health issues, that would certainly screw up your constant attacks on him.

Maybe he wanted too much money so they switched to Greenwood who offered better value. Alternatively we could have asked for a transfer fee and Huddersfield refused to pay it. Huddersfield look well represented in the back row so he may have to look elsewhere, that's if anyone is interested.

What surprises me is it's been an open secret that he has been unsettled for months so I would have thought a deal would have been sorted out well before now.

We don't want a player who is not committed to the club so I hope something is sorted out quickly to free up some cap space.

Hopefully like most clubs they will recruit several players, Jones being 1 of them but just need all the pieces to fall into place before announcing his signing.
