| Widnes player Kenny Baker was suspended for 1 match by the revue panel on the same day (6th Feb) as Kelly, but played the following weekend (9th Feb) and then missed the game on the 16th Feb due to suspension.

I could be wrong but I think that at academy level the rule has always been that a suspension starts a week after your hearing. It's going to be a real grey area at Reserve level though. Surprised that whoever administrates this area for Hull wasn't aware. Seems Widnes were.
As an aside, Kelly was lucky to escape with 2 matches in the first place but I think that Radders was totally correct in saying that these incidents will occur when powerful athletes are playing against kids. It wasn't deliberate. Some kids will get toughened up this year, some will get hurt!
