| if any player keeps overstepping the mark hes gotta go no matter who he is, yes none of us know all the facts but you gotta think it wasn't for turning up 5 min late for training, anyway hes gone now so time to move on,

| For me Griffin is not a centre and could move to 2nd row as long as he improves his defence to the highest standard.

But surely that would of happened in his career by now , if he wanted to and coaches thought 2nd row was his position , he'd be playing 2nd row . The players people mention moving from centre to second row , was very young when centre and had not fully developed , and was probably very clear to coaching staff that they would develop into a second rower . Griffins been the size he his for a long time and if 2nd row was going to be his preferred position, it would of been done by now

I honestly believe it was purely down to the sending off against Warrington, Radford publicly hammered him, I think it was down to that, and that alone

Disagree. That would have been the final straw. It would have been a culmination of transgressions. The gripe I have is it would have been wiser to sell him at the end of the season like he did with Westerman and Lineham to avoid disruption.

Like what though? Forget all the supposedly "in the know" people. As watts seemed disruptive etc over the past 2 seasons, on or off the field , yeh he's had a few red cards , but some of them very harsh , and we all love a hard hitting aggressive front rower

Thompson came to us as a utility back from Castleford mostly in the centres IIRC and was eventually playing in the middle most of the time which I thought he did very well all things considered. Rich Whiting another example, even Kirk Yeaman was being touted by some on here to play second row at the back end of his career
It's never too late if the player can apply themselves, the coach is able to coach them as to what they are supposed to be doing and for me most importantly they have the heart to get stuck in with the big boys.
If it moves, smash it, when attacking out wide make the defenders fear you and hurt them as much as possible, it's not easy to go all out into contact knowing you're not the big guy, knowing that it will hurt but you absolutely want to dominate your opponent mentally as well as physically.
Houghton's tackle on Sam Moa last year was a classic example, Brad Fash at 97kg is utterly fearless and also in that mould, and despite sometimes getting smashed he comes back for more, I really like the cut of his jib.
Could Griffin do similar, who knows but you can't discount it just because a player has never played in that position before.

I wouldn't discount it, and he I think he would probably do a job. But just don't think it's the plan for hull going forward , otherwise he'd be playing there now, and Connor playing centre , would make sense especially with the injuries, but Radford chose to play Connor from the bench .

| The Merry-go-round is eternal. Rightly or Wrongly Watts has gone. Nothing said on here will bring him back.
Isn't it just best we put him down to History ? as a really good player who made history with us ? But thats it !! Over and Out.
I think we have to focus on those who are wearing our shirt and save our comments for them.
Radders wants to give his present props a chance, they're having it tough at the mo but he believes they'll come good and for sure he'll be measured by that decision at the end of the season.
If he needs to bolster things up I'm sure he will.

I had heard that he called radford a turd and accused him of hiding behind the gap in his teeth but you'd have to be a right idiot to do that so don't believe it myself

| Given Radford's inability to control himself as a player and his pathetic slap on Bailey that wouldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding and cost us a top 4 play-off spot it's all a bit rich tbh.
We need a player of standing and it's looking like that won't happen until next year now. Let's hope we don't get any/many more injuries.
