It's a funny thing about Abdull. Rovers fans crowing about how excellent he was because they thought he was signing for them for next year early on, now desperately trying to play him down when it was confirmed he's actually our player and we intend that he's returning. Hull fans not really bothered either way as we have Sneyd, Kelly and Connor ahead of him in the halves and Watts probably our first choice LF next year. Hmm..

Abdull has more chance of first team football with HKR than ourselves and why i think he will sign for them.
We are not running an under 23 team next season so his option would be Doncaster or out on loan to a higher grade club.
The other option would be another season on loan at HKR either way cant see him in back for next season.

Agree on Bowden for me he is the most improved player at the club. Regularly makes metres and takes an awful lot of effort from the defence to put him down. Again last night he was make no ground going forward.

This is why all Clubs in SL should have their own Reserve grade , and their own Academies.

I spoke to a parent of a player who is 3rd choice in position at a Super League Club . Next season ,unless players ahead of him get injured, his only options are , a loan deal . Or sitting in the stands .
The RFL need to seriously look at the structure of the professional game. Young players are left in the cold . Loaning out players is all well and good, but does that hamper the progression of the lower league Clubs?

I would hope that Hadley or Abdull take the 13 spot next year leaving Watts and Taylor as starting props and having Bowden & Paea coming off the bench is great impact.

Well as far as I can see from this season Watts is deffo going to be our 13 for next season, Watts has got a very decent pair of hands and great feet too. yes Hadley could play that role also and I'd deffo want Hadley in the 17 every week if fit.
I deliberately didn't include JA in my teamsheet for next year as we have two established halves plus Connor and I said several months ago I don't see him having a place in the team the way Radford wants a 13, he'll be more in the James Graham 'middle' forward type as opposed to what JA does or classic wide running LF
