Well in Rule's day it was £20 or so to get in on the gate so £40 for you and your good lady. How many children do you have for the bill to reach £150? Don't really get why you'd include the cost of food, surely you have to eat regardless of whether you go to a game?

Its the second time someone (earlier in the thread) has referenced the profession I ( as well as a few others on here) am in. I don't see the relevance of it. I am aware of many from all walks of working life who are ardent supporters of the club. I don't expect every follower of the club to attend every game as circumstances are different for all, but I find it difficult to take seriously criticism of the team, coach or the club from someone who actively says that they wont attend unless we are winning (and even then its touch and go).

That's never been the issue, which I would have thought you would be aware of, and its not the issue in this situation. Its others who have brought this up.

I never mentioned it wasn't expensive, but I did make the comparison to premier league football. RL is not as expensive as premier league football, yet they attract large attendances in certain areas of the country which are similar to Hull from the view point of employment.

Three kids, tea out, couple of beers, extortionate sweet costs at the KC - you know making a night of it rather than just turning up ten mins before after driving straight from home. We'd have a nice time then go watch FC and it'd ruin it so i thought id spend my money elsewhere at that time ok cockle

I know where youre coming from. Me and the missus used to start off our fc days by nipping to napoleans. Y'know, make a day of it. After a few weeks we realised it was costing us about £7000.00 just to watch us lose!! Ridiculous!
