| So after Huddersfield beat Leeds today (had a feeling they'd beat them) it goes down to the final round game between Rovers & Huddersfield for safety or MPG. I still think Huddersfield will beat rovers.
Very real danger of our neighbours going down.

Isn't that the 3rd time hudds have beaten leeds this year and they've still been absolute rubbish. Add in only 1 away win all season against SL opposition and I can't really see them troubling rovers. You also now have to factor in they have campese back and that his injury is the only reason rovers never won the CC and aren't challenging for the LLS and GF plus peacock will be bringing out the zimmer frame one last tim on saturday. As much as I'd like to see them in the £1m game it won't happen

I understand your thought process but if Hudds maintain their form into next week, I can see Dobbins struggling. They've had a lot of points put past them, including Fev yesterday. On paper Hudds are easily the better side, neither will want the MPG but do think Huddswill shade it. Doesn't really matter though because there's no credible oppositon in the final play off, Salford or London????

To be fair you thought it unlikely they'd beat Leeds this weekend but they have. I was surprised that Rovers didnt beat Featherstone by a greater margin.
Think its a 50/50 game to be honest as both teams have beaten each other this season, but still think Huddersfield will edge it.
Probably all academic anyway as Salford look as good as down and unless they have a massive change in performance and attitude then whether its Rovers or Giants, Salford are in favourites for the drop. Guess it depends on which group can handle the pressure the best.

See my post above yours.
As I say I dont think looking at Salford they would beat either Huddersfield or Rovers in the MPG.
However whichever teams end up in the MPG both face the very real prospect/danger of going down and in 80 mins anything can happen.

| Start to feel fo JP, final game was going to be winning the GF with Leeds now a possibility of his final game resulting in relegation.
But then I starting thinking about Friday night and the chances still left to FC this season and forget all about them.

| So Salford hitting a bit of form, then? 42-14 at Batley. Sounds like they put the cue on the rack at half time when it was 34-4.
