Radford said on Humberside that Thompson had caught the sickness bug so would think he is still not well or recovered enough to be considered

| Win this one and we'll be making a real statement of intent.
Should be favourites to back it up with a win v Huddersfield. Leeds away will always be tough, but then Wakefield away and Cats at home are also winnable.
We've matched last season's points so far with gaining points v Cats and Warrington, offset with the losses against Cas and Widnes. We won at Sts last season, but lost the Hudds, Leeds and Wakey games, so this is were we will start to show if we have really improved points wise on last season.
A good April and we'll become serious Top 4 contenders.

Similar for me only ellis n frank on the bench
Mini n manu 2nds
Green loose to start game big n strong combined with impact off the bench. This is gonna be a very similar saints team for 3 in a week. Go big early. Make them work. Then when they show signs off slowing up chuck Washy frank n ellis in. That's how id do it. At the very least frank should be off the bench

If you'd have heard his interview after the Widnes game he was non to complementary about Thompson and I think that's why he isn't selected.

Seems a bit unfair given the way the whole team was off and were still not that great against wakey and then that 60mins at rovers.
It isn't like Radford to single out players so openly, has there been a spat between them?

13.Washbrook
Subs:
Frank the tank
Bowden
Ellis
Green
I would give Ellis a bit of a rest after the last 2 games we have just had, he was outstanding. Frank The Tank should give us a lift off the bench also. For me Washbrook has to start after the Wire game, he is a ideal 13, great in defence and hands like a halfback & a strong carrier of the ball.

No mention of Thompson in the RH interview after the Widnes game, nor on HullfcLive.
I suppose it might have been on Sky.

Not 100% sure when i heard it but it was on Humberside, post the Widnes match because Radford alluded to his performance during that game. Could have been a mid week interview that they do in the build up to the following weekend. What was clear to me is that we wouldn't be seeing Thompson for a while and since then he hasn't been selected (illness or not).
