| I know this may sound daft, but is there a need for reserved seating? I kniw everyone likes there spot but is it worth the extra cash and obvious hassle thats going on? Im unreserved and to be honest, I sit within 5-10 seats around me every week

| We use the un reserved South and generally sit in or around the same seats every week and everyone seems friendly, no your sat in my seat I had when in the first season we had in the East. There is also not the air of superiority that seems to waft over from waft from NE of my position, get over yourselves.
Part of the trouble here is some fans thank they are a better fan then others...........................

| East stand should be fully unreserved, let those who are precious about their seat go sit in the West. Would be a much better atmosphere.

How many people know my seat number? Really?
Look its really simple, certain sections of the East stand are reserved. I like a reserved seat because it means I can turn up whenever I like and guarantee a good spot with enough seats for my group to be sat together. Quite why some people seem to have a chip on their shoulder about it I have no idea. Frankly I'd rather it was standing but we dont have that option.

I was merely pointing out the ridiculousness of the idea that people should know which seats are reserved. When I first took my lad in 08 I moved over to the west stand for his first few games, I was told I could sit anywhere in this particular block, only to be moved 5 minutes before kick off by some jumped up prat mumbling about his seat being reserved.
It happens, hardly worth complaining on a forum about, as the OP did, is it?

| My experience is similar to that of Ian P and berro. We sit in the south stand and are usually in pretty much the same place and surrounded by the same people every time. Unreserved suits us because we go as a group of friends but not always the same people go every time. Sometimes there are 4 of us and sometimes 6 or 7. Some of us have passes but others don't.
If we are going to have reserved areas in east or west then I think they should be clearly marked.

Jumped up prat wanting to sit in the seat he's paid for? How dare he!
You don't need to know which exact seat is reserved as its done in blocks. If your sat in a reserved seat your sat in the reserved block. They could definitely be clearer signs as to which blocks are reserved but making out that someone is in the wrong for wanting to sit in the seat they've paid for makes no sense to me.

Seriously - you're calling someone who just wanted to sit in the seat he'd reserved and paid for a 'jumped up prat'?
Deary me.
