Went along to watch your 19s. Awful game of rugby, but to be fair Hull had some important players missing. The age and size of your side will ensure that you will roll most sides in that league this year. Certainly watching Rovers 19s this season I think we may struggle to cope physically.

U19s losing to Catalans 24-14 at HT in a friendly.

Saw their players at the game last night - looked a big set of lads.

Ended 46-20. The Catalan lads looked massive though when I saw them last night, must have been a really tough game for our lads.

I went along today. The Cats lads were bigger and faster, particularly the outside backs. We did score some nice tries but struggled to contain them and made too many mistakes. Only a friendly though and we were trying out a few different combinations and fringe players I think.

Finished 46-20 to Catalans. Don't think Lancaster or Logan were playing, not sure about Downs, Fash or Turgut (is he eligible)? Is Logan injured?

No Lancaster, Downs, Logan, Turgut, or Fash. Reckon they might have been rested? Think there was at least one debutant.

I'm not that close to it, but looking at the teamsheet there were a few names I didn't recognise.

On Doncaster's team sheet last week they had Turgut down as a loan player. Not sure if this was a mistake or just not announced, don't remember seeing anything announced. Might be wrong but I think Logan missed last week due to injury, back maybe?

About 4 or 5 on debut I think.

Fc raced off to early lead but switched off and allowed the visitors back in the game.

Some handy looking lads on the Catalans team, 1, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 14 all had good games

U16s got we'll beat away at Fev 40 - 10.
Mixed feelings on that one as 2 Hull Wyke lads are in the Fev team

U19 lost 32-18 v Wigan today.

Awful conditions, Wigan led 20-6 at half time playing with the strong wind, Cal Lancaster bit of magic for our try.

Second half with wind we should have done better, some poor play choices, didn't use the wind and utilise HTWs usually strong kicking game but the halfs and Abdull didn't seem in it and lacked confidence to take the line on.

Credit to Wigan who played a smart second half and looked a very fast well drilled outfit all game

Wigans 3 Oliver Gildart had good game , 8 Joe Bretherton was a big lad who caused problems and the full back Gabriel Fell (if team sheet was correct)
