I don't think many people care anymore.
I was devasted after watching a team play nal who on every position have better players but because of passion and pride was never out of the game until near 120 minutes of football.
The current coach and players at fc are meaningless.
Apathy is rife amongst a large majority of fc supporters.
Leeds next ouch.

this is the way of the forum nowadays i'm afraid, once you could have debate with a bit of light hearted banter on here, now all you get are aggressive insults. it needs sorting or even more fans are going to stop using it

anyway back to the topic - we've got a run of 5 away games coming up. lose them all and we will be in a relegation fight. however well we play in these games, coaching is a results based job nowadays, however much effort the players put in, so we need to look at turning form round and winning at least 3 of these which will put us in a better position for the run in. it will also be a chance for radford to show us he has the ability to cut it at this level (ie. turning round a poor run of form, changing tactics, motivation etc etc). my personal view is that we will limp along with players coming in and out of the side from one week to the next and carrying on with our plan A tactics. i look forward to being proved wrong

what we really need is a complete change with a head coach coming in who is given the budget to put his own coaching team in place and do what he sees fit with the current squad, even if this means upsetting people who have been at the club a long while. i would love to see something like this happen but don't hold out much hope

I couldn't care less whether Radford is moved out or not. What will stop me going very soon is the club's inability to employ half backs capable of running the game at this level. Put Burns and to a lesser extent Keating in our team today and we win. Simple.

I'm not setting out to diss either of our young halves but they must be two of the worst in the league - especially Miller. We don't need development halves we need established halves. Most of the halves I saw in the other games today were better than ours. Brown is no world beater but he's way better in class that ours. Horne has been slated for years for offering a kicking game like the one we had today but he's shot now as well. Getting Miller and Rankin in was the wrong choice of recruitment and it's costing us big time.

Change the coach - but get some halves otherwise we'll be here in another 12 games time on a new thread calling for the next one's head.

A better coach may be able to get the best out of our halves, I've got no faith in radford and how he gets the best out of the players.

Radford is going knowhere it's obvious.
AP hasn't the time in his busy schedule of trying to buy a football team to interview for a head coach.
Slug is gone so AP is even more clueless and that's saying something.

I think his hard man approach initially upset a few , after what radders considered a too soft approach from gentle.


Management is difficult thing when things are not going to plan , and his autocratic style has not gone down too well , and some of the players basically can't really be bothered now. Or so i have been informed.

Radford may as well stay; the chances are the next coach would be more of the same in one form or another so why bother? Let’s keep Radford and just have lower/more realistic expectations. You never know maybe one day one of the good coaches may have a momentary lapse of reason and/or gets desperate and gives us a go.

I have said a couple of times now, Hull FC should go all out to try sign Sam Powell from Wigan, this kid always rises to the occasion.
He was England Academy halfback when they flogged the Aussies, England Knights man of the match when they flogged Samoa, man of the match v NZ Warriors. Unfortunately he injured his ankle after that and is just coming back now.
The type of player you could a club around. Tough and a great defender, everything Miller isn't.
