No there was a similar incident with Arundel in first half near East stand that even the officials missed. Would like to see a video of it.

The decision not to charge the Widnes players is made to look even more stupid with the news on guy playing for Newcastle this morning has broke his neck. (C4 & C5 Vertebrae).

Getting players into those positions is something that needs clamping down on.

Not sure if I'm in the minority, but I much prefer watching defence to attack.
I'd rather see a 6-6 game full of great defending and big tackles than a 40-38 game full of full length trys and the like.
While I agree that our players need to be safe (feels weird saying that after the latest news on McKinnon over in Aus) I can't help but think the game is turning soft. By all means punish a shoulder charge to the head, but everybody loves seeing a big hit, prop on prop. It motivates the team and fans.

Have you not seen the NRL for a bit? The same disciplinary "problems" are happening here.

Some bright spark will have suggested that a shoulder charge to the body can cause whiplash, so let's ban it altogether.

I wonder how many of our injuries over the last few years have been caused by "illegal" tackles?
