Have booked and paid for 2 single rooms at the Holiday Inn London - Brentford Lock . Was going for the 2 nights no matter who got there but due to outside factors now can't get there for the 2 nights so if anybody wants to buy the rooms from us (already been paid in full) cost was £320 (£80 per night per room) let me know . Have confirmations etc so would just need to change name .

If driving down where's the best place to park outside of the area? Stanmore?

Watford. Plenty of parking and the train goes directly into Wembley station.

I forgot you've been abroad for a few years.
Without looking probably a few thousand dollars plus hotel costs etc. - not really feasable as I fly to The US a few days later! I've got a mate here who is a Wigan fan so may try and recreate the atmosphere at home.

Driving down and parking at cockfosters and a jump on the train....looked at train for 4 adults and 1 child with railcard...£250 and cant be ar$ed with coach.

parked there in 2008 and cant recommend it enough. Easy to get in and out of, cheap parking, decent pubs, places to get something to eat and reasonably busy with both sets of fans. Tube station direct link to Wembley and takes about 15 mins if my memory serves me right.

Despite all that I shall not be there this year as I don't want the same result....omens and all that

Travelling down late Friday afternoon time. Staying at Luton Airport Premier Inn (£58 for 2 rooms). Get up nice and early Sat morning all you can eat breakfast at the Beefeater across the car park. Drive to either Stanmore or Canons Park. Tube into London, then at some point onto Wembley (don’t like getting to Wembley to early as there’s knack all there!)

Any stay over night coaches?

Woo..you been sneaking a peek at my itinerary...doing the same but booked in Luton sth Premier inn same price 2 rooms..just that little closer to that London...Usually park in Cockfosters...plenty of little side streets to leave car. Only difference is home journey sneak off M1 J15 to a lovely Harvester pub for some top nosh without the motorway robbery prices!!!
