Briscoe, pound for pound is the best player at our club and the best player we've produced in a long time. He's a regular international and can do things I haven't seen many wingers be capable of.
He does, however, have flaws in his game that will be massively exposed in the NRL, and I personally think he'll struggle if he does go.
Either way, I'm sure he's worth every penny of what the club are offering and I doubt the club would offer him an amount that would be to the detriment of the squad as a whole. |

i don't doubt the guys ability to play, what i doubt is that we are offering him a "reported" bigger contract than any NRL team. that worries me, especially seeing as their salary cap is significantly larger than the SL. |

They may have a significantly larger SC, but that doesn't mean they'll put the same value on Briscoe as we do. Remember they'll have plenty of proven NRL players expecting contract upgrades now there's so much cash available. |

If Briscoe is the best player at FC it shows how poor some of the others are. He's a good player agreed, but we miss Manu more than we'd ever miss Bridcoe. |
