I agree, he is a better player than Tickle, but not massively better, and not better enough for the risk of his on and off field reputation to be ignored. |

Rhys Hanbury? FFS!
He's not the quality we should be targetting if we can't sign anyone to play 7 for the beginning of the season then don't just signed an okay player. We should wait for a top player to become available.
Rhys Hanbury is definitely NOT the answer. |

Big improvement on Seymour though. That said we should still be aiming higher. The one key position we have continually failed to recruit properly in since the old Horne/Cooke days.

If Tickle has made it clear he's off and Hock wants out then I think we'd be crazy not to try and do this deal.
If rumours are to be believed one reason he's after a move is the kid wants a fresh start to sort his life out.

as well as the more likely rumoured to be going to Union in France, the guy is on massive wedge , and nno club in this country could afford him simple as that, as likely as SBW coming to FC so not at all |

If Hock does become available, we'd be crazy not make a move for him. Yes he's been an idiot in his personnel life, and losses it on the pitch. But imo his pros far outway his cons. He's the only backrower in the league who can match Manu's qualities.
That said, I very much doubt that he will leave Wigan unless another NRL club come in for him which I can't see happening. He'll be at Wigan next season imo.
