At the moment, but Hull City as a club are one of the biggest supporters of safe standing in the country, there have been road shows with the Football Supporters Federation showing the terraces are they are in Germany which also have seats, and there are people high up at the club who want standing to return too.
If the FA change the rules then the KC will have some standing sections. |

don't want Fridays and don't want standing sections. It adds nothing in reality as the atmosphere is created by the fans who feed off what is going on, on the field.
All this talk of lack of atmosphere in the KC comparative to the boulevard is down to changing attitudes of fans, how we've been doing for the last however long(too fecking long) and the also the vociferousness of the fans that has been curbed by the respect/do gooder police.
Having the games on a Friday not only lessens the chances of away supporters making the trip but also us fans that live too far to make a Friday night game. if I still lived in the city I'd far rather have a traditional Sunday afternoon game, gives you the chance to take the kids if you wanted to or to get away from the kids on a Sunday for a jar or two with your mates. Friday nights don't always give you both options IMO

Away support, with the exception of a small number of team has never been great.
Wigan, Leeds and StS play Fridays. Doesn't stop me getting big gates (home fans) where kids go. |

I have mates who are remorgiging there houses to bet on fc winning the double next year so why not do the same!! It's a licence to print money!! GET YOUR PASSES NOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!'"

| Standing areas are being looked at in various grounds across the country. Aston Villa are the premierships leading advocates of this and there is a groundswell of support for them throughout the game. Pete Allen went to a roadshow with regards to standing areas so maybe he could shed some further light on the subject.
The area of the kc Stadium they are looking at making standing is the two sections of the east stand either side of halfway and above the concoure exits. Absolutely ideal in my opinion.
Can you imagine what noise would be generated in that area alone by the new up and coming threepenny standers? BRING it on.  |

Thought it was to do with the Taylor Report making Football grounds all seater and nothing to do with the FA? And I know people to do with ground safety who'd rather quit than see standing sections at KC  |

If you have half the season you think you'll have nex year then friday or sunday is irellevant. Sky will have you on a friday, saturday and from may a monday!
season tickets are a lottery when it comes to putting dates in diaries.
