West's first choice fb is out for the season, Moltzen has been terrible at fb and will be moved back to 7 straight away if McKinnon returns.

My thoughts exactly on the 2nd point, but your first??? I know you've seen Wests this season, Moltzens a shocking FB. The Dragons dodged one there, especially with Morris playing there as well as he is.

TBH Wests haven't been ripping up any trees at all this season. Another 5 mins on Sunday and the rest of Sydney would have died laughing.

Considering they were pre season favorites they're a bit poo.

Sacking Lui and having a few injuries hasn't helped them.

Agree, really dissapointed that he couldn't see out the season, family is of course important but he must have sat down and thought this through before he decided on a move to SL, probably better in the long run as Gentle can recruit his own man, but short term it further stretches the resources of a squad that already lacks strength in depth.

Horne will do a job there but worries me that he seems to be getting more injury prone and likely to take bigger hits than he would have playing at 6.

I know there's no comment on the reason for this, but, if "family comes first" I wonder why his family didn't come here.

I believe his wife did come but couldn't settle and then went home.

Kearney is ok but Bulls already turned us down for this season. I'd rather we didn't sign him for next season tbh. Not a bad play but just not someone I particularly like.

Although on a decent whack of cash I don't think its enough for partners to give up their jobs and come over too, unlike football, especially if they may have a good career going themselves. Also to pull your kids out of school for just 2 years to another country adds to the turmoil.

Big blow for us this season is this. Might have hoped for a season from him at least before quitting. I agree family is important but would have been happier for the least disruption if he could have lasted out another 5 months before returning. Hopefully this young player from Wigan will seize his opportunity to play SL should he join us.

If anyone anywhere doubted this was a season of transition it's certainly been confirmed now.

I'm another who think we could/should do better than Kearney. I especially don't think he'd be worth a fee.
