I posted this simply because I read it for the first time in the paper, thought his gall was beyond belief in that he could presume to a) advise Gentle; and b) insinuate criticism in this way. The whole thing smacked to me of a dig at Hull which I wouldn't expect him to do in the same way to Rovers, thereby implying that his new "neutrality" is a nonsense. He made his point to get a bite, then when questioned gave a not entirely stupid alternative to playing Radford. I doubt if anybody but Paul Cooke had tweeted it it wouldn't have ended up on here.
Do you or anybody else know exactly what went on leading up to his resignation? He shat on the fans by approaching Rovers, but he resigned because of Kath taking the pi$$. He's not the only one to blame for him leaving.
