A Leeds fan was walking infront of the WT with about 5 minutes to go, the bloke sat on the wall at the front was giving him grief, the Leeds fan tried to headbutt him and there was a small scuffle, and both got taken out. A bottle of beer got thrown then too, probably at the pair of them.
At the end a Leeds fan walked in front of the Hull fans giving us the finger, a Hull fan ran after them and the Leeds fan got taken out.
Was how I saw it!'"
Pretty much spot on summary apart from the Leeds fan trying to headbutt the Hull fan, it was more like the worst windmill punch thrown in the history of fights and the Hull fan didn't get thrown out. |

I saw at least a dozen Leeds fans walk in front of the WT goading Hull fans, not necessary for a fight but really trying to get under there skin.
Obviously when certain people take alcohol they often respond to that sort of stuff. Minority on BOTH sets of supporters let the game down today, they were a few incidents which came from nothing but could have being avoided through better stewarding and better professionalism from the Rhinos players.
I'ts ok what goes around comes around and we'll get ya back for the gesture one day Webb.

Oops, the way he jumped into him I just assumed it was an attempted headbutt!
Are you sure about the Hull fan though? I thought he got taken out to the North Stand side of the ground, and the Leeds fan to the South Stand? Might be (probably are) wrong though. |
