Seriously, though, it's not me, at least I don't think it is. I understand that Rovers fans have exhausted ebay, Pure Party and Dinsdale's joke shop as well as the obvious home dye kits from Asda. I'd have thought the award-winning retail department would have been quicker off the mark with this opportunity TBH, but it seems they were struggling with the basic concept of one pass one ticket and even now collection deadlines are being miscommunicated. Another year in the life of the shambles that is Rovers retail function.

Right, let's look at this:

It wasn't known until Saturday evening that it was going to be Hull v Rovers. The Rovers shop (like the Hull one AFAIK) is not open for business on Sunday. That would mean the earliest opportunity for the shop to order some blonde wigs would have been Monday. Presumably they would have had a 24-48 hour wait for delivery of the wigs. Would you really expect them to fork out for a load of blonde wigs (which they prob wouldn't have received until today) and try selling these, based purely on what is still (as cool as it is) only a minority of people buying them/pledging to by them? By this I mean a lot more of our support prob doesn't read the forums then does.

And, come Monday (if we've lost) how the f is the shop gonna get rid of the remaining ones?

You should, you would make a mint. Our shop for the challenge cup on 05 was a bit of a joke, and the opportunists made a killing. But then again, we're a big club and had made a major final.

Have to say I don't think the Ahh Briscoe ones looked very good (not just saying that as a Rovers fan). IMO a smarter one would have been in the style of those Pemps used to do (and I think your shop has done for a few players).

Will look forward to checking out the badge sellers stands actually, sometimes have some good commemorative ones.

This game has been on the cards for three weeks. How about you do some scenario planning, call up a wholesaler on Saturday evening and send a van round on Sunday? They're hardly a bespoke item like the special edition t-shirts FC seem to be able to turn round in a couple of days. Could have had them in the shop when people went for tickets on the Monday. I'd expect better from the department of the year at Craven Park TBH.
