Its not the first time this has happened because of Sky and it wont be the last. I seem to remember that one team travelling to perpignan even had their kick off changed late on when flights etc were booked. Now that is harsh!  |

on www.rugbyleagueontv.co.uk sky have a game pencilled in for the saturday not the thursday so with nothing being made official as of yet,,, is it posible they could be moving it to the saturday?? did read somewhere the clipper was back in hull that day but cant see the need for police there as i cant see trouble at a boat race  |

It's not just the return of the Clipper race though, it's everything that goes with it and if the numbers turn up that they did when it left last year, there's no way the police will allow both events on the same day. |

last year the city hosted both the freedom festival and the clipper boats on the same weekend.
I can't see the boats returning attracting anywhere near as large a crowd. I watched the boats leave, and while it was a good event for the city...I'm in no hurry to see them pull back into harbour. I'm sure thousands more feel the same. |
