The kick was a shocker but we've seen plenty of those in recent seasons. It concerned me more that he didn't get to the up and under that was a FB bread and butter. I would play him in the halves when we are short.

Last night wasnt great for Tansey but the kid has loads of potential. Dont forget he only started playing full back permanently last year so moving him around to different positions may not be in his best interest.
One things for sure Hull's attack looks far more potent and unpredictable with Tansey in the line up.

FFS the kid took a wrong option, how many times in recent weeks has he been the one taking the right option and creating tries! He has done well since coming to Hull and yes he has his flaws and takes the odd wrong decision but he has added an extra dimension at fullback and plays with great enthusiasm.

overall,has done well,since arriving here.would like to see him run at the opposition a bit more,when coming out of defence,and also who's the defence coach(moore).needs help with the high kicks,we all know that.but we will get better.

This thread is shocking, a poor kick yes, in fact he made a couple of other errors, but he still produced a bit of class (no else except manu could do that) for our first try.
From what I have seen this season he has been good from FB, often looks like making a break, safe and decent one on one defence.
Without Long our most creative player by far, i think he is a very good Fb and will only get better.
Apart from his errors which needs improving he has far better stats than Briscoe.

Think Tansey's made a good start for us. Always looks keen and a threat with ball in hand. If we had any cover at FB I'd play him in the halves at the moment. But we don't, unless Whiting goes FB and Tuffour plays on the wing.
