What amazed me about this match was not that Leeds are a superior team, which we know they are, but we seemed to have learned absolutely nothing from the hammering we got last week, in fact we actually looked worse. Leeds support and offloading game is second to none, yet when Horne made a break no one was was within 20m of him, and trying to play an expansive game 20m from your own line in a last gasp attempt to save face just ended up with a knock on. I'm just curious as to whether Agar actually watched last weeks video of the game and devised a game plan, as defensively and offensively we were clueless for the majority of the game. As for Manu, I'd be thinking, what the hell am I doing here.

Reality - A good title.
We all need a reality check including our board and coaching Staff - We have a Club that draws in 1400 approx to games at a very nice Modern Stadium and we still are knowhere near being in the top 4 teams of Super Leauge.
I hate to so it but please Mr Rule - Mrs Hetherington, Mr Agar and any-one else at the Club get a REALITY check you are all out of your depth - not just the team you put on the park each week all off you. And by the way all of us for buying into it!!

From a red and white perspective I can see that. From an FC point of view though he created at least 4 tries for Leeds. Credit to the kid he's got plenty of confidence and probably he puts his hand up more than most but regrettably he's not good enough.

And that is the most important part. No club winning trophies regular would ever be denied a franchise, and success on the pitch generally creates success of it (if it isn't there already), generally though, they go hand in hand. Which is why it's so baffling, you have everything going off the field but continually medicore on it.

I can understand your frustrations. Your board need to show more ambition, sign a top aussie coach and try and sign some top english talent.

Crowds are good, you're profitable, you're a grade, top facilties etc.

When you think about it, why wouldn't the board be happy?

Well, financial stability and infrastructure is key, hence the turnover, solvency and stadium criteria being 3 points vs 1 for contribution to competition. If it were a choice, I'd rather the board secured the future of the club's existence rather than a short term spend-a-thon at the expense of ramping up debt.

But

We are allegedly spending up to the cap, so can't really say the board/coach are scrimping on the squad, rather they are making the wrong choices and not getting the balance right. Seemingly our reserves set-up is better than average by SL standards. Our community programme is very good. The fundamental unanswered question is why we don't spend another £100k pa over and above what Agar's on on a top class coach. We're already profitable and the fans respond in putting more money into the club through attendances and merchandise when we get a bit of success as evidenced in 2006 and 2008 CC. The role of the coach is absolutely key, and in the salary cap era the key differentiator between clubs. Why only the fans can see this and the board can't/won't is absolutely unbelievable.

The reality is we are A Grade in every aspect apart from our coach!
