Maloney?

I don't think Maloney would of had the impact Moa did.

Did well IMO, confirmed by the usual tits behind me slating him for the entire duration of his spells, that's a cast iron guarantee a player's doing well.

Unfortunately, I think we're now short of overseas spots for him to stay. Even if Manu comes off I think we might be better using the last spot on a more experienced fullback. Otherwise I would have liked him to get another deal. I could even see a case to argue he'd be a better use of an overseas spot than Cusack at this stage.

I think his plan was probably to use radford as the 4th prop and for g horne to move into the back row with whiting going to FB. r horne's injury ballsed that up

He should play in the next few games and see what he can do, and then maybe offer him a new contract. When he has played I have been imprssed with him, runs hard a line and is defence is also pretty good.

I think he has the potential to be like Feka if used right.

Indeed, one of the best ways to tell a decent player is if the braindead element of our support dont like them.

Been saying for a while that I couldnt believe he and Maloney were getting overlooked for Thackray and King. The thing that had me scratching my head is that I had never seen Sam Moa get knackered after his short stints in earlier games he had played. I cant see him staying next season unless King gets released to another club (which is something we really should be trying to do) but he would be on the bench all the time if I was picking the side. But then again, form doesnt really count for much in this side, just ask Whiting

Agreed. I like Maloney's attitude on the field but I'm not sure he's big enough for a SL prop.
