He hardly bloody played....when he did he was a superb 2nd rower but he was injury prone.....amazing how you pop up when its the slighist whiff of a put down of 1 of your ex players and member of your coaching set up. |

Fair enough. Yep, we hear about it all of the time, the infamous cull that never really happened. It was obviously a comment said in the heat of the moment, atleast he cares which is more than Sharp ever sounded like he did. I don't think he was forced on him literally, I think there was no one else better, what 7 would you have brought to the club? Who else's contract did he renew OOI? Radders was our player of the year so I can see why he was renewed, he isn't a bad player as such but he's a bad player in a team full of plodders. |

Season for us ended in September - He had 6 months to get a scrum half. Thorman signed as Dykes left. If he was strong enough the board could have offered money for a Deacon, Sherwin or even Luke Robinson. Or had time to throw money at an aussie import. instead they went cheap an easy.....again!!!
Radders player of the year - sorry just showed how poor we was and why we finished 11th! |

exactly - yet our club turnover now is 4-5x what it was in 1990 BUT we won't invest in a world class coach.

Top coaches cost money and that expenditure is not justifiable to our board when we can appoint much cheaper coaches and have similar income streams. Our board are very good at making business decisions !! |
