i'm not sure we are, and i don't think we would have been last year either, even with a fully fit squad. Too many 'grafters' and average nobodies.
Peter Sharp took a runner up side and wrecked it. Its going to take time to recover. |

Raynor
Byrne
Burnett
Briscoe/Whiting (get one back/lose one)
First 4 would be in the starting 13 for starters. Wouldn't change the coaching shortcomings obviously, but basically we're in the same boat as we were last season with 7 players unavailable. Might not have made any difference to the results, but with the last 4 losing margins of 1 point, 10 points, 4 points and 4 points, maybe we'd have done enough to sneak a couple of those. |

If the commitment was there and the team stopped this boring one man rugby peoples attitudes would be a lot different.

Wakefield have Drew and Brough to create and kick though. We have Horne who's a good defender and runner but never a creative player, and Thorman who wasn't even good enough for fullback at Huddersfield. |
