You also increase the risk signing injured players, the club knew Trueman had big injuries and still went ahead (though had already signed when he limped off a final time for Cas) Sutcliffe also looks somewhat fragile as does Ashworth. |

Exactly doesn't take alot to catch the teams who will finish 5th to 8th. Even with the current set up, we have beaten Wigan, come close to beating Salford and Warrington. Small improvements on and off the field can really swing things around.
As it stands we should be aiming to finish around 8th and hopefully slightly higher if we sign 2/3 more top (SL) level players. |

Watson had to get him to move in with his family to get good form out of him. He's an odd character thats for sure. |

Add walker to that and abdul and cist next season. Holmes also been out a long time but was pretty robust before that |

Worryingly we intended to use a quota place on that PNG full back who hadn't played first grade and was also heavily linked with that PNG hooker who hadn't made the NRL either. Surely we should be aiming higher than that. |

Not surprising really is it given the rest of our recruitment. We need a scrum half and a centre assuming trueman goes. Not that keen on lafai or Mcdonald as both seem to be on the downhill slope. Surely cartwright can find us a couple of decent players from oz |

Laifai's age is his concern and Mcdonald seems to move clubs regularly.
I'd be happy with either, doubt we get either, hopefully pick up another Fonua (first spell) from the NRL.
Same with a halfback.

Thats why Ritchie Rich has brought in Hardaker and Chamberlain
Both well known for their strong running,tackle breaking and offloading.
Hardaker in particular is a wingers dream |
