Maybe it is a 1 year contract spread over 2 years

| Quote: Isaiah "With the shortage of talent around, I would love us to get Matthew Russell on board as a good future prospect.
It would seem that Tomkins is staying put at fullback for the foreseeable, so it might prompt Russell to want a move.'"
Can't do basics pass a ball , lets ball bounce rather than take it on full .
No noway.

| Webb is awful, I can't understand Robinson going for him. He rarely runs the ball back, choosing to throw wild passes to the wingers. Personally, I think he's frightened to take a tackle.
Full-backs are a rarity, it's often a thankless job and more often than not they get the blame for letting in tries. Are there any decent youngsters coming through the ranks at Hull we can look out for?

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

I'd hazard a guess at no.
Jamie Shaul?

| Shaul is pretty decent, but some way off yet. If he stays in league, then Wrigglesworth could make a useful FB.
But there's nothing immediately, and J. Briscoe is just living off his brothers name.

Can't say I've seen him play full back in quite some time, has always played centre when I've seen him. Jamie Shaul has played there this season and has looked very impressive when I've seen him, Reece Lyne has also played at the back a few times but we all know he's not the answer.

| If we didn't end up signing McDonnell, Owen and Eden are the two I'd look at if especially seeing as we're looking at young English talent. But another Cas player may be taking the pish
Not saying we'd be able to sign these, but there players would could be looking at if need be.
Or if Widdop ever feels home sick Hull isn't far from Halifax so he can't be moaning about the journey from Lancashire.

Jamie was a match winner as a kid , unreal , scored tries for fun . I thought he could be the next Jason Robinson when he first came training with me. I hope he has grown as was small but like Billy Wizz.

He turned up aged 11 after all his team mates from school said there was a kid at school that single handedly won a school match with 4 tries. I said bring him down !
He won MOM in Yorkshire Cup final at U12s and I played him at hooker. He kept a younger Curtis Jackson out of the team. Jamie also played with Lee Williams and Dean Hadley. Aaron Ollett was also in the team (KR 20s).
I knew he had to grow to the same height as Rob Burrow and as I haven't seen Jamie for 5 years I don't know his height but he has everything else. I think Rovers let him go from their scholarship and he went to Skirlaugh open age.

from the numerous u20s games ive seen this season, shaul never dissapointed, has a quick turn of pace and can leave players in his tracks once in open field

Agree from what ive seen of Jamie in the 20s he has always stood out, pops up in the right places and has decent pace, wether he can make it in super league is a different matter, hopefully he will, maybe send him out on dual reg in championship to get some experience at next level. IMO i think he is a better prospect than Matty Russel (i believe Matty is now 3rd choice f/b at Wigan)
