Not to sure myself but I've heard we're linked with him . Suppose if we did it could stop Ellis and nicklas progressing which I wouldn't want .

Can't keep saying this though, or we'll solely depend on the U20s making the step up. We have to sign the best available, if players are good enough they will play. Nicko and Ellis are both still young and plenty to learn, if we want to replace Horney it has to be with a player who can offer more and I don't believe Nicklas or Ellis can fill the shoes just yet. |

id say we wont sign crookes, its the sun normally very unreliable, Tom won't be going until 2013 at least and will sharp on current form deserves a new contract and with lineham just signing a contract I cant see us signing another winger.

Hopefully the Sun is doing the usual and getting things wrong as I don't see Crookes as improving us, we already have 2 better wingers and a very exciting winger coming through.
He had a couple of decent this year and and is now been hyped up, there are at least 5/6 players I would target at Bradford before him.

About 6 years ago Sykes was a quality player and would have loved him to have come to FC from London. Think he played for Great Britain at one point. Under McNamara he went backwards and agree he's looked poor in more recent years. |

Crookes would be an odd choice, if Briscoe is leaving i'd hope for better. He has great pace but no real game awareness.
