Holbrook is packing his bags in anticipation!
Powell looks a busted flush. Would have been better under Price if he’d stayed there.
Loved how he moaned last night about having two players missing. Big deal.
As for us, Shaul did okay last week but have a feeling he’ll play Litten. Smith seems to like what he brings.
I’d leave Ben Mc in there as well. Every club needs a utility who can play 7/9. He can be ours going forward.

| Litten should 100% play. He’s an exceptional young talent who will develop with regular game time. Shaul went alright last week and really excels in the effort areas but so does Davy. One is the future and one is sadly in his twilight years.
Similarly, I don’t think Dwyer has been good enough to keep playing him. He might play slightly better than DB or BM but it won’t benefit our long term strategy
I don’t think we will win but we’re now at the point where each week I think we could no matter who we play.

Agree with Hoy not being risked then Litten has to go in at FB based on performance, the energy he brings and the future/forward plan. Shaul did went OK for a player that's seen little rugby for such a long time but Litten for me is the better option.
As for Dwyer, for me his performance just haven't been good enough and he isn't consistent enough and has taken too many wrong options or gone the wrong side because he hasn't looked and is in headless chicken mode. Again as you say he's not part of the future and for his performances don't warrant inclusion into the 17, so would rather go with a player that is part of the clubs future plans.

| Have watched the game twice in the last week and Shaul didn't look very confident under the high ball, also throw an awful forward pass to Litten (which was picked up). Made a couple of good runs, but think Litten (who also wasn't great on the wing) is a better fullback than Shaul.

I know what you mean but they are still second in the table after a bad run of results.
They will come good again
Cant see Dwyer however enhansing Powells reputation if he is there next season.

With not a lot of game time under his belt, then there was the odd bit of rustiness. But his voice and organising from the full back position was first class, especially in the second half when Saints were camped in our half. He outshines even Hoy in that department.
I think Shaul could do with the gametime and I would go with him over Litten. If Litten gets the nod, then I'm sure he'll give his best. So it's a tough call for Smith to make.

They've got Saints then Wigan next up. I think they'll lose those 2. The way the table is, they won't be a comfy play off team for long.

| Another free hit today. Can see us losing by 10+ but I thought Saints would do us last week.

| The Salford, rovers and Leeds results should provide as extra motivation for us today.
Win and we’re closing the gap with Leeds, lose and we’re lost in no mans land
I’m hoping the longer turn around and tough Leigh game will play in our favour.
We’ll put up a fight and I feel like either team to win a low scoring match by around 4

| Fc have put on Facebook
Happy Birthday, Shaully - go make it one to remember.
To me that would suggest he’s playing today.
