Be disappointed with that, I don't mind JJ on the bench to cover the backrow, but he shouldn't be covering hooker.

Although except Houghton as usual to play 80 minutes and be ineffective.

I think we can pretty much say with a high probability that Houghton will more than likely play 80mins as usual and in doing so have little impact or be ineffective. This is no criticism of Houghton but the Coach who still hasn't worked out that Houghton just can no longer do 80 mins week in week out and still be affective.

Johnstone should not be in the 17 as we should use the opportunity and build for the future and play both Balmforth as interchange hooker and Hookem alongside Lovodua.

We need some creativity in the side and a player than can make a difference as we are lacking massively in that area, Johnstone would make no difference in that respect so for mine its pointless if we were to play him ahead of Balmforth or Hookem as he brings no spark or attacking flair.

If Johnstone is in the 17 at the expense of either Balmforth or Hookem for me that would be a very short sighted view by the coach

With the squad as it is at the moment, I think we need to try and introduce a youngster when we can. It will help us in the future that they get some experience now and again.

On a side issue, looking at the picture from last night, looks like Gaz and Jason Smith could both still do a job for us on Saturday. 80 minutes playing alongside them would be a great education for our youngsters!! :D

I'd play Johnstone at 13 with a bench of Taylor satae balmforth and brown but feel after losing 2 backs last week during the game he will have a back on the bench in place of balmforth

You'd rather have Johnstone in the side ahead of Fash?

Johnstone for me shouldn't be in the 17 and would rather have Fash or Brown at 13 as they are more affective than Johnstone.

At least Fash and Brown offer go forward, I fail to see what JJ offers in attack.

Good to see Matty Laidlaw get rewarded with a spot in the 21-man squad, his rapid progression these past few months has been pretty incredible.
