Same here.
We've had two of the greatest days in the club's history during Radford's tenure but the inconsistency is alarming as is the number of hammerings.
2017
18-58 at home to Salford
24-52 at home to Leeds
0-45 at Magic to Saints
2018
10-72 at Wakefield
10-80 at Warrington
2019
12-63 at home to Warrington
16-62 at Saints
2-55 at Magic to Huddersfield
We've shipped 50+ five times in under a year - actually five times in twenty-five games.
Worth pointing out too that Radford is our longest serving coach since Arthur Bunting and only Bunting has had a longer spell as Hull coach in the last fifty years.

| Id argue that the hammerings do more harm than the victories like Warrington last week do good. The attending fan base cant be happy not knowing which FC is gonna turn up and some will and are already thinking well the team cant be d so why should i.
But Pearson will give Radford next year (or part of) with his new team but you can pretty much guarantee that we will still have hammerings and be in the same position because weve been getting hammered throughout Radfords tenure whatever team has played

| Whatever happens we definitely need some new blood in the coaching team. last has been on the coaching staff since the mcrae days and radford must have been back around the club for well over a decade. Time for some fresh inout and ideas

| I like Lasty but he's been a the club an age. I think he's done some assistant coaching at lower international level but it's telling that he's never either fancied a shot as head coach in the lower leagues nor has he (as far as I'm aware) been offered such a position.
I'm not blaming him for our failings but as has been said a change of ideas and fresh blood in the coaching team is overdue.

| Quote Hbomb82="Hbomb82"Problem we have if we employed a new coach he wouldn't have time to sign his own players. Radford will have got the deals done. However let s new coach in now let him see what he has got with plenty of time then give him a full pre season with the squad. It's a shame with Radford and he will go down a legend but you have to move on in sport.'"
Personally I think it’s a weak argument if a coach states they need to sign their own players , especially if it’s across the entire team. I wouldn’t expect miracles over night, but an experienced, quality coach should be able to mould a team unit including players who have represented their country.

| It's a total fallacy that a coach needs "his own team"
No coach ever gets a job with his chosen set of players.
Did Trent Robinson arrive at Roosters with his own team? Wayne Bennet at Souths this year?
A good coach gets the best out of the individuals he's given and devises a game plan to suit that group of individuals.
Good coaches usually make a positive impact quite quickly even if they've not chosen hardly any of the players personally.

| He still has JUST enough credit in the bank to keep his job. He built one trophy winning team let him have the chance to build another.
Despite the hammerings we are 4th. The table doesn't lie It's not down to luck. It's decided on points won not points difference. If we stay in a play off place that would be satisfactory and have exceeded most peoples prediction at the start of the season. If we continue to get embarrassed and slide down the table then he'll have to go.
It's no coincidence that most of these pathetic performances this season and last happen when Ellis isn't playing. It's embarrassing when you're relying on a 39 year old who had to come out of retirement but that's how it is. I'd love to see a win/loss ratio over the years when he plays and not. We desperately need leaders and hopefully the new signings are made of that material.

| How many half centuries in total has Radford conceded ? Betts was notorious for it at Widnes but Radford must be running him close now.

I think Radford has a few more plus points than Betts.

| It's not that we lose, it's the way we lose. Our last 4 defeats have been absolute hammerings. We don't seem to have "the stuff" that top teams have when things go wrong. We just go into a hole and give up completely.
Yes, Radford can get them up for it occasionally. We do pull off the off big scalp. Yes, it was great the we finally won at Wembley (and twice). Yes, the record win against Rovers was very sweet. Yes, being one game off winning the league leaders shield was special.
But look at the downs: All time club record defeat, all time club record home defeat, joint all time club record losing streak, biggest defeat in the history off Magic Weekend.
These are not acceptable, yet they've happened so often.
I think this will be Radford's last season. I don't think they'll sack him, but I think they won't renew his contract.

I don't really understand what a lot of Hull fans expect. As a collective we seem to mentally position ourselves up with the likes of Wigan and Saints when the reality is if you look at the results over the past 20-25 years the club's peers are really the likes of Castleford and Catalans, which is where we are now.
I'd also rather have the sporadic hammerings above than spreading these points conceded over a wider series of games. We'd be serious relegation candidates of that happened.

| I'll be amazed if Radford isn't here this year, the way Pearson speaks about him and backing him by to change the squad. Unless we have a finish to the season similar to last year I think he will still be here.
Thursday's game is massive.
