I'm looking forward to seeing Rankin in the halves, looked very lively that last two games. if we can't get up for this match we may as well pack up and go home now. I can't call it, heart says FC, head says Rovers. If we lose it'll ruin my Easter.

I agree in the most part however on that basis it took a drop ball and two forward pass to get Saints close to our score. Many people have said in a denigrating way if it wasn't for the intercepts we would not have won. That is obvious but there was skill involved in both, they were both the result of short passes and not long or looping ones that the opposition can see and take advantage of. What are the many depts Kelly lacks? Yes he can throw the odd wayward pass and miss the tackle. Which match has he gone missing in this season? His opta stats put him in the team of the week not for the first time.

I do not know who will win tomorrow there probably will not be much in it. However as we we have scored the third most points and are equal ninth in points conceded it could well be an interesting time.

We are all assuming Rankin will play in the halfs but wouldn't surprise me to see our wonderful coach play Abdul.
Naughton also on standby as not certain Shaul will make it.

Did you canvass all the NRL fans or just those that suit your argument. I assume all S.L. coaches instruct their players to target him, such has been his impact in just a few matches. Aren't interception tries part of the game anymore and mistakes like drop balls are part and parcel of the game are they not. Mantelleto's drop ball led indirectly to one of Saints try I recall.
I suspect there are more NRL coaches other than Manly that have been alerted to his form and I suspect many S.L. clubs would like him as their half back but hopefully HKR will make it a priority to get him signed up for longer than two year deal he is currently on.

It's also the main reason we aren't getting good value from Watts. A big part of his game is his ability to offload and we have nobody even trying to take advantage of it most of the time.

As much as I think a lot is Radford fault, I don't believe he is telling them not to back up. Our players just seem a bit dumb.

In that case You had better hope they continue to perform under par for your sake on Monday.
You commented on the fact that it took two intercepts from Rovers and a drop goal, well that's all part of the game and two aspects that take a degree of skill and awareness.
You also forgot to mention that, had it not been for two obvious St Helens forward passes the score would not have looked so respectable as it did for saints.
With regards to tomorrows game, i never dare to make a prediction regardless of form, I've watched the game between these two for so many years and seen the form book turned upside down that many times, that now i believe it just comes down to who wants it more on the day .
I'm certainly Looking forward to tomorrows game and expect the atmosphere to be at full volume in front of the sky cameras, let the contest begin. icon_biggrin.gifRUMMER: icon_smile.gif

Hate derby matches and they never go to form. A lot will depend on hulls kicking game, if you can keep us pinned in our own 30 we'll really struggle. If we get equal field position then I fancy our chances

With 20,000 tickets sold so far it should be a cracking atmosphere, it will certainly be an eye opener for those players who have yet to sample a full bodied derby game with the two points at stake.

In 2007, both games at the KC topped 23,000. No chance of seeing that record beaten in the foreseeable.

9 April 2007, at the KC Stadium. The game was played in front of a sell-out attendance of 23,002
Although its unlikely that a crowd that size will be matched tomorrow night there will probably be a few more tickets sold to take the figure over 20,000 come kick off time.

There was a second KC derby that season, the other game on 2nd September (Sunday lunch) had an attendance of 23,004. I forget the score icon_sad.gif

No predictions for tomorrow night from me other than I'll be glad when it's over.

Crazy for Kieran Dixon going from playing in front of barely 2,000 people to 20,000 in a years time! Sure he'll enjoy it!
