Not sure, we did last year and our squad is about the same as last year and apart from Salford, none of those teams have improved massively and I'm not convinced by salfords squad or coach.

He said that Saul doesn't feel comfortable on the wing and asked not to be selected there. I remember a similar scenario at Rovers a few years back when Justin wanted to select Kris Welham at full back. Kris wouldn't play there and initially it annoyed me. At the end of the day though, if a player isn't comfortable then you arnt going to get the best out of them.

Fair play to Shaul for wanting to nail down the full back role. Us, a lot of clubs & even England have played people out of position or hampered players development by changing half backs to hookers. If we want to be the best we need players who want to be the best. If he feels to be the best he can be is by concentrating on being full back then fair play he knows he's up against a good player & would get the odd game on the wing if he wasn't full back do to me we should applaud his attitude.

What attitude? Radford asked shaul if he wanted to play on he wing, he said he didnt feel comfortable so he wont be, we have had too many players in the past playing in places they shouldnt be. Let shaul and mcdonnel fight for the fb, can only be good for the team

Blimey, I used Welham as an example of a young kid who backed himself to play one position, and made it. Shaul may be the same. It wasn't meant to be turned into a debate about Justins astute positional changes.
