| Quote Father Ted="Father Ted"Rumour on the Wigan board that you've signed Chris Tuson.
A good player, not a star but will put a shift in for you every time he plays.
Had a good season when fit and scored some decent tries when backing up.
Our problem was that after Hock, the 2nd row often was Hansen, Farrell & Tuson.
That combination is too small.
You have some big men in your squad so shouldn't be a problem for you guys.
That's if it's all true of course.'"
The only reference I can see to Tuson joining a Hull club was Hull KR.
And we don't have a big pack any more.

| Radders has been telling pals this morning that he agreed in principle to take the job over the weekend and is sitting down with Pearson midweek to thrash out the details.
Think it is too early for him personally but he has served a decent apprentiship in the Conference, with your juniors and as your assistant. It is always good to see a Hull lad come good so good luck to him.

| I've had a couple of days to think about the whole Radford/Last/Cooke idea now, and I still can't see any merit in it whatsoever. Like anything, there's a chance it might work, but it looks like a massive gamble with incredibly long odds. I don't like it. Not one bit.

| Quote Isaiah="Isaiah"Imho, [uIF[/u Gentle has gone, I would think it will simply be Radford as caretaker coach, until we have a permanent one in place.'"
Why would you need to appoint a caretaker coach? There'll be no role for a coach for the next 6 weeks or so anyway until training starts for next year.

| If Radders is to be coach then I will certainly give him a chance until he proves otherwise.
We need to give him some credibility and hope he will be professional enough to distance himself from the players and create that gap between them in order to promote discipline and respect within the squad.
No need for all the doom and gloom in my opinion. I'm not an eternal optimist when it comes to Hull but as Hull fans I find some just like to whinge and moan without people being given a chance. (Feka aside )

Not very professional of him.
I would have thought the club would want control over the news getting out so as to be able to put the best possible spin on it.

Happy day's just what we need an inexperienced coach with the re-mit everyone has to be from Hull with a sprinkling of Island boys to add some beef to the pack.
Luckily for us wakey and London are in a mess.

Quite.
Makes you wonder if his "pals" already knew this was in the pipeline and contributed to the spectacular lack of effort last Thursday night.

All those fickle ers wanting gentle out, careful what you wish for'"
Nothing fickle in wanting Gentle gone, the performances dictated that. Unfortunately nobody saw the whole Radford and cronies thing coming about which is a complete joke imo.
For me Pearson seems clueless and the future has suddenly become very dark for the club.

Pearson threw money at the club last year and it didn't work.
He's a business man first and foremost and if he can't see a profit he'll cut costs.
Local coaches and a team made up of local talent means he can reduce the cap spend dramatically.
The signing of a player from French RL was a massive warning sign.
He's not an Hull FC supporter but he saw an opportunity with the clubs support to make some money, he hasn't.
