| Pretty much agrea with most of the original post. Even though I never wanted rid of Agar I also accept that one swallow (or even two!) dosent make a summer. With the team we now have on the park we really should now be able to push on. What Agar is now reaping the benefit of is actually having 2 (sometimes 3) true half backs in the team which due to injury he has missed out on most of the time while being at the club. The Obst deal is looking a better descision all the time.bb What is also interesting is Warrington and Tony Smith, because of the squad they had with Cullen etc. in charge, where the benchmarks a lot of people where pointing at as how we should follow. Great then that Agar has proved today he isnt an "idiot" like some people said and can obviously coach a team. Lets hope we can remain somewhat injury free and long may it now continue.

| I must admit to not being full of confidence ( I always hope tho!) about the last 2 games, but am highly delighted to be proved wrong.
Well done to everyone, lets hope we have finally turned the corner at last

| Quote: ICECREAMMAN "Will Sharp... that useless waste of money (as some said) had a awesome show and today we saw just why the club were so keen to get him, well played will!!
Kirk yeaman... many had said last year he was finished and is nothing other than a small 2nd row... eat your words and bow your heads in shame!!
Hame... had his best showing of the season today and looked a class act attracting 3/4 tacklers everytime and quick play the balls opened them up a number of times.
Ewan Dowes.... what a plodder he has been called, numpties who called him that can watch the VT and see today the yeardage and work he put in constantly putting his hand up and didnt take a yard backwards.
but I leave my last comment for Danny washbrook who today was in many opinions the MOTM, his runnig caused them nightmare after nightmare, great passing, great feet and massive tackle count i would guess, proved again today why he is still FC!!
'"
I said at the start of the season I thought Sharp would prove to be a very good signing and I stand by that, he has made the odd mistake but not as bad as some have made out. Pleased for him today.
Yeaman is probably my favourite player along with Ogre and I have fought his corner on here plenty of times, I thought he played well last season, hence the International call up but this season he is on fire and it's probably helping he is getting more ball as we are moving the ball better.
Hame I like but he is very inconsistent, time will tell if we keep him, depends on who else is available.
Dowes has been underperforming for over a year now and two good games does not change that, not taking away from his performances as he has played very well but he needs to keep this going. Pleased he has found this desire from somewhere.
Washy is another player I like, mainly as when he plays 13 he has always done very well for us. Don't think he is a bench hooker or a half but as a backrower/looseman he is a very valuable player to have in the squad, glad he came in and did well, good young player who I would like to see stay.
We have done really well at easter to win these two games and Agar deserves credit but, this does not change things overnight. We still have a lot to do and Agar still needs to deliver, should we lose our next two then this will be seen as nothing but a flash in the pan. I hope we do continue to win though, would be happy to eat my words on Agar if he can turn things around.

| Consistency is the key. Individuals need to back up week in week out to make the team as a whole consistent. Do that and the table takes care of itself. As Willie Manu pointed out on FC TV after the R****s game there have been too many occasions when not all of the 17 "turn up to play". That must be rectified in order for any success to be achieved. This Easter has been massive for the club and particularly the coach but if standards slip going forward it will be worthless. I'm over the moon with the last 2 games but the next 15 need to be better still for us to achieve what we need to achieve with what on paper is a very good side.

Very good game from Washy, some bug hits in defence and a nice little show of his 'bad side' with a sly headbutt on Solomona i think that caused him to lose the ball

| Great weekend! Todays game was brilliant. On another plus note we are the only team who have all their points scored by English players over the Easter weekend.

| I can go along with all the original poster has said, we now know that the players can do this. So begs the question if the form dips again it can only be the coach right?
We have done really well this Easter period and even before this, and before the wigan performance, I could see the way Agar was trying to play, a suffocating defence and power through the middle with solid defence and try to strike when near the line. With the players we have, as show, when it works, it is devastating but I feel this system requires us as a team to be a lot more on the ball and playing at 100% every week than teams who use different tatctics.
At the moment we are playing in the same style as the Brisbane Broncos (for those who watch the NRL regularly) and they are well drilled in bringing their "A" game to the pitch every single week and that is what we need to do. I think teams like Saints, Leeds and Cas have a lot more attacking flair and can change their game to suit opposition tactics during a match. I don't think we are that kind of a team.
Hopefully we can keep this up !!!!!!

| People keep mentioning the Saints game as a sign we have turned the corner.
I think it's a good sign if we win or put up a strong showing, but I believe it will be the following league game which will give us a true reflection.
Too many times we have given a good performance against a top team (not everytime admittedly) and then give a stinker against a team we would hope to be beating.
If we want to challenge in this league, we need to go to Salford and win. I don't expect Salford to roll over and let us win, but to be contenders, we must win.
Great Easter weekend and well done to all

Great Easter weekend and well done to all
And before the weekend people were saying Rovers was a "crunch" game for our season and after we beat them it was "if we can keep the score respectable on Monday (10-16 point defeat). People need to stop looking for our next failing and enjoy each success as much as they seem to enjoy things going wrong.
