When will people realise that "the tax man" will be looking at income from the gate, not how many are through it

As i have told people on here the gate "announced" is not the number of people in the stadium watching the game, that comes from the police box, there is a VDU in there wich displays "clicks" through the gate, other sales (non attending passholders & gold area) are then added to this

Thinking about it logically, as long as the total of all announced gates during the season matches up with income declared then HMRC should be happy. Not sure how it would work with the voucher system though, as some people would effectively be counted twice when entering through the turnstile with their voucher.

There must be some way of adding in folk who don't pass through the turnstiles - they'll need the actual number of people inside the stadium for safety reasons.

So if a pass holder doesn't go to the game they will still be included in the attendance??? That's a bit weird if true! Surely it should just go on clicks through the turnstiles plus members in the west stand that didn't get their "click"

Why would they lie about the true attendance? I know attendances are a rough average as you cannot get it spot on but it should be more accurate. Am I right or am I missing something here?
